Naked Voices is a student-run, co-ed A Cappella group at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Founded in 2000, we became the first A Cappella group on campus and have since received numerous awards and recognitions.
Composed of a tight-knit community of talented singers, our group prides itself on performing a range of styles from pop to jazz to R&B. We perform high-caliber music with exceptional musicianship, carefully selecting songs that highlight both technical precision and emotional depth, for an overall powerful performance.
We consistently compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), receiving high scores, as well as ‘Outstanding Soloist’ and ‘Outstanding Vocal Percussion’ awards.
We made our television debut on Steve Harvey’s daytime talk show, going head-to-head with Backtrack Vocals, the A Cappella sensation from New York City, delivering an epic clash of harmonies that left the audience buzzing!
